Agisting or boarding

Whatever your motivation - owning alpacas is rewarding!
One successful way to get started and establish your alpaca herd, especially if you do not have a farm or are not ready to have animals, is through agistment (boarding). Agistment can be either for an indefinite period of time or until you are ready to take your alpacas home. Some owners enter into agistment contracts and watch their herd grow without having to commit to day-to-day animal care. Owners are free to visit their animal(s) whenever they please. We feed your animals and give them all the love and care that they need. Our fees are very reasonable and a discount for multiple animals can be negotiated.
Owners must have full mortality insurance coverage on their alpaca(s), and must pay for DNA blood tests, cria registration, veterinary fees beyond standard care, shearing fees and any special expenses (such as transportation to shows, etc.).
We are willing to enter into an agistment arrangement with interested parties. You can either purchase one of our animals and let us look after it for you OR you can board animals that you have purchased elsewhere.
